  The Clay County Historical Society is proud to announce the publication of a new, comprehensive history of Vermillion. From the River Valleys to the Rising Bluff: A Pictorial History of Vermillion, South Dakota 1859-2009 has just been received and is now available for sale.
  
  The authors - Tom, Cleo, and Joe will all be present for a book signing to be held at the museum from 2-5 pm on Sunday, October 5th. Refreshments will be served during the signing and all who attend are also invited to look around the museum.
